KS2G - Mel

Hoot, hoot...

Wasn't able to put in much of an effort for SS. Got on for only the first 15 minutes of the
'test before I had to leave for a Saturday evening family gathering in Manhattan ...
and was able to stay sufficiently awake for only an hour from 12m-1a (local) when I
returned. Put in about nine hours on Sunday.

Instead, I took a 200+ mile motorcycle ride with my sport-touring
group (which includes WM2V and K2DO).  I operated only
about 6 hours or so from about 4:30 PM to 11 PM on Saturday.

Saw three KL7s posted on Sunday afternoon/night and couldn't hear one of
them. No sign of the usual VY1 so missed that section too. Huge local noise
problem on Sat night so gave up early. Some day...
